2021 District Conference Update

Dear Ministers of the Florida District,

Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus Christ! I want to update you on our upcoming 2021 Florida District Conference. 

On Thursday, January 7th, the Florida District Board met to discuss this meeting's best possible approach. We are going to utilize the same format we have used in the past. 

• Thursday night – 7:30p

• Friday morning – 11a / Ordination Service

• Friday night – 7:30p

Our guest speaker: Raymond Woodward

 There will be one exception to our overall conference schedule; we will not be serving any meals. We have opted to forgo serving meals due to food prep, serving, and seating concerns. While this is not optimum, we do feel the more significant benefit is being together for church services in Ocala once again! 

 We will be taking every possible precaution for these services. We will have sanitation stations at the entrance and people to check the temperatures of all attendees. Given the size of our tabernacle, social distancing will not be an issue. 

Additionally, our district board has opted to meet all of our applicants via ZOOM. All applications are due no later than January 22nd. 

We are cautiously moving forward with our 2021 Calendar and hoping to normalize as much as possible. 

 Thank you for your prayer and support throughout this last year and the adjustments we make for this meeting.
